Ca. 1840 Early American Blackamoor figures playing the cymbals and triangle, originally from a building in the Southern United States. Carved of Poplar, a wood indigenous to the lower U.S.A., these finely detailed figures retain the antique painted finish and decorative leather strap used for the triangle.
