Original Frihetens Murar (English Title: The Walls of Freedom) (1978) movie poster. Swedish drama film directed by Marianne Ahrne entered into the 11th Moscow International Film Festival. Plot: The Argentinian actor Sergio (Renzo Casali) comes to Sweden where he rents a room from Karin (Marianna Stjernqvist). Sergio pictures Sweden as a paradise, this changes for the worse when he tries to make contact with the Swedes. He develops a relationship with Anita (Annis Kronberg), who also lives in the same house. After a while they move in together only to discover they cannot connect with each other. Sergio says goodbye and leaves for Italy.
